Meals on Wheels supports the idea that pets provide love and companionship and improve quality of life for their owners. Therefore, we deliver monthly supplies of cat and dog food to our meal recipients who need assistance with meals for their pets. Your donation of cat or dog food or dollars to support this program is greatly appreciated. The gratifying aspect of our program is that we know how much comfort a pet can bring and we are glad to know that we can continue to keep both our clients AND their beloved pets fed. Traveling Billboards Help Support Meals on Wheels You too can have your company’s name or logo placed on Meals on Wheels’ very own “traveling billboard”—our volunteers’ cars! $1,200 provides a Route Sponsorship for an entire year, including a magnet with your name or logo which is placed on our volunteer cars each week day to run an average of 22 miles throughout Central Virginia. Some areas of town can be reserved for your magnet, if available. Additionally your name will be highlighted in our quarterly newsletter, Table Talk, and on the Meals on Wheels website. Most importantly, your dollars will provide 240 nutritious meals for homebound neighbors right here in the community. Call now—space is limited!!
