The full cost of the meals is as follows:
Lunch meal: $5.00
Sandwich meal: $3.50
Breakfast meal: $3.50
Cost of meals is based on ability to pay. Meals on Wheels will work with you to determine a fee that is affordable within your budget. Meal recipients will be charged a fee based on a sliding scale. Gross monthly income minus certain expenses will be used to determine a fee. No one is turned away due to inability to pay.
A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available through Senior Connections (the Capital Area Agency on Aging) and through Meals on Wheels directly.
