Meals on Wheels supports the idea that pets provide love and companionship and improve quality of life for their owners. Therefore, we deliver monthly supplies of cat and dog food to our meal recipients who need assistance with meals for their pets. Your donation of cat or dog food or dollars to support this program is greatly appreciated. The gratifying aspect of our program is that we know how much comfort a pet can bring and we are glad to know that we can continue to keep both our clients AND their beloved pets fed. Please call MOW at 673-5035 if you would like to make a donation.
Meals on Wheels Serving Central Virginia provides freshly cooked meals to homebound seniors and adults who are not able to prepare meals for themselves. Our menus and recipes take into consideration the special needs, preferences, and dietary requirements of older persons.
