Meals on Wheels supports the idea that pets provide love and companionship and improve quality of life for their owners. Therefore, we deliver monthly supplies of cat and dog food to our meal recipients who need assistance with meals for their pets. Your donation of cat or dog food or dollars to support this program is greatly appreciated. The gratifying aspect of our program is that we know how much comfort a pet can bring and we are glad to know that we can continue to keep both our clients AND their beloved pets fed. To provide balanced, nutritious and appealing meals to seniors, people with disabilities and disadvantaged populations. We strive to improve the physical and mental health of those served by providing, either directly or through cooperation with other organizations, a range of goods and services that improve quality of life.
To serve all seniors and persons with disabilities who are in need of nourishing home delivered meals in the central Virginia area without a waiting list for service. To be a role model of best practices for other Meals on Wheels. To inspire and lead the community and other nonprofits through our innovative practices and superior performance.
